June 2025 sees the release of Four Songs About Love from Andrew George Griffiths

 

Griffiths’ reflections on his personal experiences with love and loss is a moving 13-minute, four song cycle. The music begins with a density that mirrors our all-too-human tendency to bury our more difficult emotions in the ‘noise’ of life. However, by the fourth and final track, Griffiths’ heart is laid bare for all to witness as any remaining musical camouflage is stripped away

 

These songs of local landmarks and situations were recorded in Swansea during the latter half of 2024 with a core group of friends that grew up on the same street 50 years ago - ably assisted by other friends and family

Presented in a limited edition of 250 copies pressed on one-sided 12” black vinyl in a colour UV gloss-printed outer sleeve and quality card inner sleeve with full lyrics and recording credits
